The new River Lodge at The Islands on the Manatee River is now open. The River Lodge is an exciting new amenity reserved 
for the exclusive use of The Islands’ residents. This beautiful new lodge greets residents and visitors alike as they arrive over the bridge at the community’s gated entry. As a neighborhood gathering place, the River Lodge provides boat docks for guests, as well as a fire pit, barbecue area, bocce ball courts, putting green and kayak launch. Indoor and outdoor seating areas will overlook the Manatee River providing the perfect vantage point to view the collegiate crew teams as they train on the waterways.
The facility includes a beautiful great room design that features a comfortable seating area facing a natural stone fireplace, bar area with a large screen television, home theater with iPad controls, card tables, liquor lockers, hi-top table seating, along with a catering kitchen. A convenient, business center will provide residents with computer access, Wi-Fi, newspapers and magazines. Best of all, a new fitness center captures gorgeous views of the river as residents are provided with both cardio and weight training equipment.
